Physical Therapist OP - Outpatient Orthopedics

Role And Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physical therapy services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Conduct evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and documenting results; communicate findings and involve patients and families in goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, monitor patient progress, and modify care plans as needed; collaborate with healthcare professionals. Complete accurate documentation of care activities, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring clear records of patient progress. Manage time effectively, meet productivity standards, and demonstrate flexibility and empathy to facilitate patient access to care. Engage in continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and assist in mentoring and orienting staff, students, and volunteers. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required by the specific location. Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) from the American Heart Association.
