Your careful touch and professional know-how will ensure that patients feel at ease while you create the clear, diagnostic images essential for effective treatment. Your Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT techniques to gather high-quality diagnostic imagery for physician review
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and an interdisciplinary team to confirm accurate diagnoses
- Expertly position patients and properly adjust equipment for optimal imaging results
- Uphold radiation safety protocols for both patients and colleagues
- Keep precise records including imaging logs and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure a compassionate approach to patient care throughout the imaging experience
- Play an essential role in maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from a recognized radiology program is a must
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is required
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety practices
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
- Technologically adept with PACS, RIS, and modern imaging systems
