Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety, EHS

Serve as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, providing onsite support and strategic guidance Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, observations, audits, and onsite compliance inspections Develop and implement EHS programs covering Hazard Communication, Injury Illness Prevention, Chemical Management, Process Safety, and other safety challenges Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions Perform building hazardous materials and hazardous/biohazardous waste inspections Verify client compliance requirements and support EHS permitting requirements Conduct industrial hygiene evaluations Collect and analyze field data and prepare technical reports and recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs and strategies Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance across deliverables Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality solutions Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related science degree 2+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and client-focused Willingness to travel to and be at client site(s) for up to 40 hours/week, primarily within the Northern California San Fran Bay Area Valid driver's license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship Preferred: Master’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related science degree Expertise in California-specific EHS regulations and best practices Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program development and implementation, with a strong focus on compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality solutions.
