As a member of our sanitation team, you will use mechanical and sanitation knowledge to efficiently and safely clean production equipment so our operations teams can produce high quality products for our customers to enjoy. What You'll DoClean and sanitize production equipment, floors and machinery in production processing areas using pressure cleaning and chemical dispensing equipmentDissemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of products in machines and surrounding areasMaintain necessary records and sanitation cleaning logsCommunicate potential issues, concerns or risks with management to achieve resolutionUse proper precautions and protective gear to safely use a variety of chemicals during the cleaning and process Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentExperience working with and/or cleaning equipmentMechanical aptitudeAt Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
