As part of the Clinglobal group, we support innovation for animal health companies worldwide—from startups to industry leaders.Position SummaryThe Animal Husbandry Technician Support role is responsible for daily animal care, facility sanitation, and supporting basic research activities. This is a hands-on position requiring physical work and attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnimal Care & Facility MaintenanceFeed, water and provide daily care for animals (including barrier-housed animals)Clean and sanitize animal rooms, cages, and equipmentTransfer animals, supplies, and materials as neededAssist with grooming, bathing, and exerciseResearch Support (Training Provided)Assist with handling and restraining animalsObserve and report changes in animal health or behaviorSupport specimen collection and basic study proceduresMaintain accurate records and data as requiredQualificationsEntry-level position, Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in animal care or laboratory settings is a plusAssociate degree or certification in animal science preferred, but not requiredVeterinary Technician license is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to stand and remain active for an 8-hour shiftComfortable performing cleaning/sanitation tasks involving animal wasteStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Must be fit for duty and able to work safely around animals and equipmentSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, 40 hours per weekTypical schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMMust be available every other weekend, alternating scheduleHolidays and overtime work may be requiredCompensation & Benefits$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experienceHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceUp to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year (increases with tenure)401(k) with company match up to 5%Additional Information Data Privacy NoticeOur facility is USDA-licensed and AAALAC-accreditedApplicants should apply using a supported browser (Internet Explorer is not supported)Equal Opportunity EmployerClinvet NY is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
