Schedule : Monday through Friday (Day Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver products to assigned locations as instructed
• Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Operate pumps for loading and unloading of bulkproducts
• Cross Train on Bobtail
• Complete and turn in paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Properly follow all DOT regulations, policies and procedures
• Follow Sun Coast and customer operational and safety policies and procedures
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Pay Range: - , General Benefits: Qualifications

• Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A license with tanker and hazmat endorsements, a good driving record, and a good understanding of DOT regulations
• Have at least 2 years' tractor trailer experience
• Able to work weekends, and an extended workweek-overnight and/or out-of-town travel may be required
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others
• Able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions
• Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to fuel, fumes, and moving equipment
• Physically demanding with extended driving time
• May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
• Able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day
• Able to climb steps to verify tank compartments as needed
• Able to work safely on uneven or muddy surfaces

Preferred

• Experience in the fuel and or Lube Industry
• Able to drive a 10-speed tractor
• Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
