If you enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting, apply now!/ppEvery other weekend 8a-2p/ppResponsibilities:/pulliEnables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families./liliMonitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise./liliSupports patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands./liliAssists patients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming./liliHelps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene./liliHelps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient./liliAdvises on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping./liliRecords patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying the nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions./liliProtects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements./liliEnhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments./li/ulpHome Health Aide Qualifications/Skills:/pulliCreating a safe, effective environment/liliHealth promotion and maintenance/liliNursing Skills/liliTransferring/liliPatient services/liliVerbal communication/liliListening/liliTraining/liliDependability/liliEmotional control/li/ulpEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliLicensed CNA.
