Registered Nurse (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers

Job Details Position Title: Registered Nurse (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers Location: Round Rock, TX – 1650 Round Rock Avenue Schedule: PRN Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 4pm Anticipated End Date: 2026-09-30 Responsibilities Perform duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, the facility’s policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols. Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures. Complete admission process as directed by Center Director. Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis. Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed. Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record. Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and be responsible for follow‑up on any problem identified. Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy and document this finding in the medical record. Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment. Understand and adhere to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and/or regulations, including maintaining patient confidentiality through HIPAA laws/regulations. Minimum Requirements ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state required. Multi‑state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states. For Paragon and Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences Experience with IVs. BSN preferred. Port, PICC, and Peripheral line experience preferred. Medication mixing experience preferred. Titration experience preferred. Medical insurance terminology knowledge preferred. Exceptional time management skills preferred.
