This is a great opportunity to join the largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic in Indiana with an established patient population and built-in referral base.Competitive base salary starting at $600K.The South Bend Clinic provides a valuable benefits program that is made to meet the various needs of our physicians and their families.* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance and medical coverage at 100% (after deductible) when utilizing a SBC/Duly provider* Employer provided life and disability insurance* Immediate 401(k) match* $2,500 in CME fundsDetails:* Seeking one additional Gastroenterologist to join our General Surgery group (5 surgeons)* Share MAs (4.0 FTEs) and Schedulers (2.0 FTEs). Based on volume, we anticipate that we would need to add an additional scheduler upon hire of a Gastroenterologist* One NP supports the General Surgery team* Very efficient team and space in our ASC, including two procedure rooms and dedicated GI support, RN and Tech for each room. They are able to turn colonoscopy cases every 20-30 minutes. EGD turn rate is 15 minutes. Goal for colonoscopies is at least 70 cases a week.* The ASC is open Monday - Friday. GI pre and post op is isolated from other surgery cases. We offer both IV sedation and anesthesia for the GI cases. Equipment includes Olympus 180 series high definition, Erbe, Endoscope, and Medivator.* Built-in referral base and a backlog of colonoscopy orders means you will be busy from day one!Requirements:* American Board Certified* Must be very collegial and friendly with excellent communication skills* Ability to provide high quality patient care* Team oriented, positive, and patient centered* Demonstrated our Core Behaviors - Compassion, Integrity, Teamwork, Trust and RespectCompensation & Benefits:* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance and medical coverage at 100% (after deductible) when utilizing a Duly provider. In addition, they are 90 minutes from downtown Chicago, with easy access by train, interstate, or air. Lake Michigan shorelines are less than an hour away! Our community is a great place to live & work and has ample recreational & educational opportunities for all.About the Clinic: In 1916 Dr. Walter Baker, a South Bend surgeon, had the opportunity to tour the nationally known Mayo Clinic. Even then, the Mayo Clinic was an impressive healthcare facility; it was the first large multi-specialty group practice of its kind. Dr. Baker was so inspired by what he saw that he immediately returned home and gathered five other specialists together to form a similar group, which became known as The South Bend Clinic. Those six doctors started the clinic that now includes over twenty site locations, 150+ providers and encompasses over twenty-two different specialties. Despite its exponential growth over the past 100+ years, The South Bend Clinic stays true to the founders' purpose of patient-centered, physician-led healthcare.
