Job Description

Shift: Midnights

Status: 40 hours per week 

Ready to put your lab skills to work in a dynamic environment? Here's what you'll be doing:

• Perform a variety of lab procedures on blood and other body fluid specimens using both manual techniques and cutting-edge laboratory instruments—you'll be the hands-on expert making it all happen!
• Work collaboratively under the guidance of laboratory technologists, leaders, and supervisors to execute defined protocols with precision and care
• Navigate laboratory information systems like a pro to manage and track specimen data
• Take on phlebotomy duties as needed—drawing blood samples with confidence and compassion
• Contribute to accurate, reliable test results that directly impact patient care and outcomes
• Stay sharp by following best practices and maintaining the highest standards of laboratory excellence

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required. Alternatively, meeting the educational requirements of #3 below.
• MLT certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA) desired or completion of a military 50-60 week technician program and meets the minimum CLIA requirements. Alternatively, meeting the requirements of #3 below.
• Successful completion an Associates or Bachelor's degree that includes at least (5) college courses from among the following: Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry (inorganic or organic), Physics, Nursing, Statistics, Physiology, Veterinary sciences, Mathematics, Introduction to Laboratory Sciences, Pathology, Microscopic Anatomy (Histology), Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Microbiology, Urinalysis, or Coagulation.
  • Course work outside of the US must be verified by NACES approved credentialing evaluation service.
