Sr. Associate, Weekend, Live Streaming Host & Moderation

Requirements:

• On site on the weekends (8/hr day)
• Must be well versed in utilizing a computer and a mobile phone.
• Must be familiar and passionate about premium fashion and luxury product.
• Must have a high energy, engaging personality, and be comfortable in front of the camera.
• Flexibility to work at non traditional times, eg. weekends and after-hours. For example, weekends 11am-5pm or 5pm-11pm.
• Flexibility to work in the weekday after hours (if wanting to pursue full time employment)

Role Description:

This is a part time, or full time on-site role for a Sr. Associate, Live Streaming Host & Moderation located in the New York Metropolitan Area, specifically in our Stamford, Connecticut offices. The Sr. Associate, Live Streaming Host will support live selling sessions by engaging with audiences, showcasing pre-loved luxury products, and leveraging exceptional communication skills to drive sales. Additionally, the role involves assisting with product preparation and organization to ensure smooth live streaming events.

Role Duties:

• Host and narrate live auction streams with high energy, confidence, and strong audience engagement
• Present and describe products clearly and persuasively while maintaining a consistent pace of 15–30+ showcased items per hour
• Actively monitor and respond to live chat to build rapport, encourage participation, and drive user conversion
• Verify all items and SKUs in advance to ensure successful run of show and a seamless presentation
• Showcase each item visually with clarity, highlighting key features and important details (critical to success in this role)
• Maintain professional camera setup and framing (iPhone/iPad), including a clean, organized background (shelving only; no ceiling visible)
• Ensure products remain centered and clearly visible on camera, especially during active bidding
• Arrive on time and be fully prepared to go live at the scheduled start time
• Present a polished, camera-ready appearance with visually appropriate attire.

Benefits:

This role is available in either Part Time (4 Hours/Day) or Full Time (8 Hours/Day) iterations. Part Time iterations consist of 4 hours of hosting. Full Time iterations flex to be 4 hours of hosting, and 4 hours of moderating, or 8 hours of hosting (two separate events). For weekends, full time employment would consist of flexing into some weekdays. Part Time hosts are not eligible for benefits, but Full Time hosts are eligible for benefits. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k) plans, and more.
