Day/Night, 12 hour shift, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am depending on unit needs. Fri-Sun with every other weekend and some holidays required. 1st time travelers allowed if 3 YOE in high acuity hospital. Can consider candidate with strong level II experience. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required. EPIC experience required. WI RN or compact RN license required. AHA BLS and PALS required. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Unit Details Staffing & Scheduling Scheduling Type: self Patient Ratios Days: 1 Patient Ratios Nights: 1 Patient Ratios Weekends: 1 Float Required: May float out to NICU and general care Call Required: Weekend Coverage: True Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Pre-Approved Time Off: two Orientation Hours: 36 Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics Daily Census: 18 Number of Visits Per Day: 0 Number of Rooms: 23 Number of Beds: 25 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro/Neurosurg, Level 1 trauma center, Transplant (heart, liver, kidney) Mixed unit with both CVPICU & PICU patients. 4 bed satellite ICU beds on General care floor. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and CVICU experience required. General cardiac experience required. Can have extensive level 2, but please make sure it's at a high acuity hospital. Would prefer CV experience over level 1 trauma experience.
