Promoting both STR and CoStar products, you will have the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train, and retain your book of business, and ensuring high levels of customer service and high renewal rates.This role is office-based with up to 25% travel required. Candidates must be based in Nashville, TN.ResponsibilitiesGain a thorough understanding of your clients and their needsBecome an expert in STR and CoStar's unique value proposition and solutionsComplete ownership of the sales cycle including prospecting, demoing, closing and renewalMonitor client usage and engage clients to use services in new and effective waysConduct a high level of in-person client and prospect product demonstrationsProvide valuable insight to all participants in the hotel industryRepresent STR at industry events, including preparing and delivering sales presentations and industry performance presentationsMeet and exceed sales, prospecting, and activity quotasEffectively and efficiently utilize CRM; ensuring accurate information is uploaded and kept up to dateBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university3+ years of successful sales experience in a business to business environmentA track record of commitment to prior employersProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotasExperience managing pipeline and deals through a CRMThe ability to travel up to 25%Candidates must possess a current and valid driver's license.Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.Preferred QualificationsFluency in Spanish - both written and verbalOur Best Performers Are...Passionate, hard-working and ambitious – As an innovator, we are fast paced and creative and expect our Sales Associates to move quickly to seize opportunity.Fast to learn new concepts and apply them – STR clients and prospects are diverse and demanding.
