Job Description Pharmacist Location: Fort Dodge, IA Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible Join a Growing Veterinary Pharmacy JRG Livestock & Pet Supply is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our growing veterinary pharmacy team. We are a closed-door, mail-order veterinary pharmacy, meaning there is no retail counter or direct patient interaction. Our focus is providing accurate, efficient prescription fulfillment for veterinary patients while delivering exceptional service to veterinary clinics and pet owners. We are currently licensed in Iowa and have exciting plans to expand into additional states. We're looking for someone who is excited to grow with us and help navigate the licensing and regulatory process as we continue expanding. If additional pharmacist licensure is required, JRG will cover the cost of obtaining out-of-state licenses. What You'll Do Verify and dispense veterinary prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensure prescription accuracy and patient safety. Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and veterinary pharmacy standards. Assist with pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance. Help support multi-state pharmacy licensing and regulatory compliance as we expand. Collaborate with our veterinary and pharmacy teams to provide excellent service. Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in good standing (Iowa or eligible for Iowa licensure). Additional state licenses are a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, supportive team. Interest in veterinary pharmacy or willingness to learn. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
