Refrigeration Technician

Job Description

The Refrigeration Technician plays a key role in servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment. As an individual contributor within a small team, you will perform troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades while providing regular communication and sales support to customers. The position primarily involves remote troubleshooting with travel to multiple sites to ensure optimal equipment functionality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service commercial refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely and on-site
• Repair refrigeration components and replace faulty parts
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements
• Provide customer support including sales consultation

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Field experience with refrigeration systems
• Technical diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration
• EPA Refrigerant Certification
• Knowledge of refrigeration system diagnostics
• Understanding of electrical systems and mechanical repair
• Skilled in preventive maintenance
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management abilities
