Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool RN – Georgia

Start Date: August 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool position supporting all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac patient populations. Patient ratio 1:3-4. Minimal requested time off during assignment.

Highlights:

• Provide critical care for cardiac patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain populations
• Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Float to all Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units; may also cover telemetry beds with lower acuity patients
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborative float pool model providing exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios
• Assignment begins August 2026 with competitive compensation package

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or ability to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or intermediate care experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Strong cardiac nursing background with experience managing complex cardiac patients and drip protocols
• Float pool or multi-unit experience strongly preferred
• Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
