Occupational Therapist AssistantAshford Hall is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide occupational therapy services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting the occupational therapist with the implementation of treatment plans, conducting assessments and evaluations, and providing ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.Responsibilities:Assist the occupational therapist with the implementation of treatment plans, including assisting with therapeutic activities and exercisesConduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals, including gathering relevant information and dataProvide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress, including conducting follow-up meetings and check-insMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' interactions and progressCollaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and servicesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or in a similar roleExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and handle a high-volume workloadAbility to work collaboratively with other team membersValid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plusPerks:Competitive salaryPaid time offMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan (US only), Employer RRSP match (Canada only)Professional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environment
