Process Engineer

Responsibilities Lead process design, development, and optimization projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Serve as a subject matter expert in process engineering, providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for production operations. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and work instructions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and R&D to implement best practices and process improvements. Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for complex process issues. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations. Support capital projects by defining process requirements, evaluating equipment, and coordinating installation and validation activities. Mentor junior engineers and provide training to technical staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) 5–8 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or related field Strong knowledge of process design, optimization methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC) Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools (certification preferred) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience mentoring or leading teams Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Aperture Group
