Make a positive impact in education by supporting young learners in their communication and language growth. This is a contract-based opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work with preschool and Child Find populations in a dynamic school-based setting. With a full-time schedule and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll help provide essential services that set students up for success.
Your expertise will make a difference as you manage variable caseloads (from approximately 30 to 60 students—caseloads fluctuate based on evaluation vs. therapy load). You’ll utilize your clinical skills while fostering a supportive, enriching environment to enhance every child’s development.
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Current State SLP License
- Valid SLP Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be up to date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP or pediatric experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to preschool and Child Find students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with other educators, staff, and families
- Support students’ functional communication in classroom and social settings
- Maintain all required documentation and adhere to all compliance standards
