Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located close to Ithaca, NY, this contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to provide direct and teletherapy services to a diverse school caseload. You will work 30 hours weekly, collaborating with a team to help students reach their full communication potential.

Your expertise will be vital in delivering therapy to children with mild to severe disabilities, including those diagnosed with Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbance, and Down Syndrome. This is an excellent position for SLPs at all stages of their careers, including Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Desired Qualifications:

• Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist license
• Active TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
• Experience with pediatric or school-based therapy, including teletherapy modalities
• Familiarity with IEP processes, progress documentation, and goal setting
• Comfortable adapting therapy techniques for a range of needs (mild to significant support)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and strategies
• Deliver services both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation
