Ultrasound Technologist, Imaging Services, Per Diem

Role Overview The Ultrasound Technologist - PRN performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operating complex equipment including 2-D, 3-D, color, and spectral doppler modalities. Key Responsibilities Conducts routine and specialized sonographic examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging. Provides preliminary interpretations and alerts physicians to potential pathologies. Gathers clinical information from charts and patient interactions to optimize exams. Assists in invasive and special procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintains and calibrates ultrasound equipment, performs quality assurance, and adheres to safety standards. Supports training of colleagues, students, and visitors. Completes documentation, reports, and manages computer systems related to procedures. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year relevant experience. Certification or license as per department standards. Strong technical proficiency, adaptability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
