Senior GNC Engineer

Seeking a skilled Senior GNC Engineer, the full-time position offers the opportunity to design and implement attitude control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams, either onsite in San Jose, CA, or remotely. Key responsibilities Design and implement attitude control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment Define requirements for ACS algorithms, hardware, and related systems, including roadmap development Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific performance and support anomaly resolution of on-orbit systems Required qualifications PhD or Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent plus 5+ years of professional experience, or significant hands-on experience with GNC analysis and design Proficient in C++ with knowledge of control and optimization theory Experience with LEO platform attitude actuators and sensors, including reaction wheels and star trackers Expertise in numerical programming environments such as Python, Julia, or MATLAB Experience designing and implementing ADCS/GNC subsystems for spacecraft
