In this hands-on clinical role, you’ll assess patients, provide emergency or urgent care, administer medications, and support specimen collection while documenting accurately in our electronic systems. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and provide high-quality emergency or urgent clinical care within licensure (EMTB, AEMT, Paramedic, or LPN) Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols and physician orders Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and responses to treatment in electronic medical records Support phlebotomy, specimen collection, and preparation for laboratory processing as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and follow-up care instructions Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean clinical environment in compliance with regulatory standards Respond effectively to medical emergencies, following established triage and escalation protocols Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and skills development Uphold ABC Healthcare’s standards for compassion, professionalism, and inclusive, team-based care Qualifications Emergency patient assessment Advanced life support/basic life support Medication administration Vital signs monitoring Electronic medical records documentation Phlebotomy and specimen collection Infection control and safety protocols IV insertion and line management Triage and emergency response Patient and family education Active state EMTB, AEMT, Paramedic, or LPN license Current BLS certification ACLS certification preferred PALS certification preferred Valid driver’s license if role includes field response #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
