A Mobile Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients at various locations, ensuring proper specimen handling and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. This role requires strong patient interaction skills and meticulous attention to specimen labeling and inventory management since it functions as an individual contributor position.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood and other specimens from patients in diverse settings
- Interact professionally and compassionately with patients to ensure comfort
- Label specimens accurately to maintain sample integrity
- Manage inventory of collection supplies and equipment
- Adhere to compliance protocols and safety standards
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections and patient interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Phlebotomy or related healthcare field
