Your background in school nursing will be vital to creating a safe, healthy environment for students from all walks of life. We are seeking a candidate with a few years of prior experience in school-based nursing to provide compassionate care and effective health support throughout each school day.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license (Illinois)
• A minimum of several years’ experience as a school nurse or in a similar school-based setting
• Strong clinical skills, especially within pediatrics or adolescent care
• Confidence in managing Individualized health and emergency plans (such as CSN experience)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver day-to-day nursing support to students and staff, including assessments, medication administration, and urgent care
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school administrators
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and comply with district/national regulations
• Foster a welcoming and health-positive environment within the school community
• Support health education and preventive wellness activities
