**Responsibilities:**

* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
* Provide basic nursing care, including taking vital signs, reporting changes in client condition, and maintaining accurate records
* Assist with mobility and ambulation, including transferring clients from bed to wheelchair or walker
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including assisting with meal preparation and cleanup
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care

**Requirements:**

* Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Louisiana
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift, move, and transfer clients, with or without assistance
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in a timely manner
