MetroWest Medical Center is now accepting applications for our November 16th RN Residency Cohort. We are especially interested in candidates with prior Emergency Department experience, including EMTs, ED Technicians, and Paramedics, as well as new graduate nurses who completed a senior practicum or capstone experience in the Emergency Department. Our Emergency Department RN Residency combines expert mentorship, hands‑on learning, and a collaborative team to help you build the confidence and critical thinking skills needed for success in emergency nursing. Our November 16th cohort requires an active RN license prior to the start date. As part of our residency program, you’ll join a supportive community of clinical educators, experienced nurses, and fellow new graduate RNs dedicated to helping you successfully transition from student to professional nurse. Job Responsibilities Will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care. Will specifically, assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients. Will also assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated. Onboarding Process Please be advised that candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening which includes a drug screen. Education Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school, or currently enrolled in nursing school with a graduation date within the next 6 months. Certifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
