RN PainPresbyterian Rust is hiring a Pain Management RN PRN.Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job Summary: Provides direct nursing care to patients by performing the following duties. Specific functions can vary depending on area to which employee is assigned (i.e., OR, Pain).Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prepares patients for surgery/procedure by providing peri-operative and post-operative instructions. Administers to the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families. Follows all key requirements meaningful differences as outlined in the EDGE (Every Day Giving Excellence) program under "Education and Experience."Understands and interprets physician's orders, lab values, EKG's and x-ray reports. Checks the accuracy of paperwork pre-operatively. Documents patients' medical histories, including allergies.Provides prescribed medications and other pharmaceutical products in accordance with physician's orders. Understands and interprets medication administration orders, dosages and side effects.Initiates safe practices and is knowledgeable about current center policies and procedures.
