Recruiting Sourcer

The Recruiting Sourcer is responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing pipelines of qualified candidates to support the organization's hiring needs. This role partners closely with recruiters and hiring managers to proactively source talent through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and industry research. The Sourcer evaluates candidate qualifications, conducts outreach, maintains accurate applicant tracking system records, and helps ensure a strong and diverse talent pipeline for current and future opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, and recruiting tools.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct candidate outreach through messaging, email, and networking.
• Review resumes and profiles to assess qualifications and alignment with position requirements.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop targeted sourcing strategies.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Track sourcing activity and pipeline progress to support recruiting metrics and reporting.
• Research talent markets, industry trends, and competitor organizations to identify potential candidates.
• Support employer branding and engagement of passive candidates.
• Assist with candidate scheduling and communications as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.

Position Requirements

• Strong research and candidate-sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and online talent databases.
• Ability to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements and transferable skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with candidates.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Education and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or a related role.
• Experience using LinkedIn or similar platforms to identify and engage candidates.

Preferred:

• Experience working with an applicant tracking system or recruiting software.
• Experience supporting recruiting efforts in engineering, construction, technical, or corporate environments.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
