Category: Engineering & Science Position Type: Regular Full-Time Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a Systems Engineer / Analyst to support our Fort Belvoir, VA location. PeopleTec is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer / Analyst to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments. The successful candidate will contribute to the evaluation of architecture concepts, sensor and interceptor performance and command-and-control (C2) options using advanced modeling and simulation tools, including MATLAB, GTRI Benchmark model, and/or AFSIM. Duties Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures. Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads. Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools. Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions. Required Skills/Experience Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant experience. Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems. Expertise with MATLAB Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
