Tax Manager- Growing Local CPA Firm, $125k-$160k

A top accounting, tax, and advisory firm has partnered with our team to find a high quality Tax Manager in the Jersey City area.

This firm is about 60 employees, and works with local and regional business clients as well as high profile personal clients for a variety of tax and advisory needs.

Position Summary and Duties:

-Work independently and with the management staff to work with an assigned group of clients across multiple industries

-Advise clients on multiple tax issues, planning, research and compliance

-Prep and review tax returns for multiple entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts

-Work with key clients for business advisory and tax decisions

-Supervise and train junior tax personnel

-Help when needed for local business events networking and fostering relationships

Role Qualifications:

• 5+ years of tax prep and review experience with various entities
• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent)
• Masters in tax or accounting preferred
• CPA is not required but highly appreciated OR CPA eligible or a EA with same level of experience
• High level of tax skills, organization, and analytical skills

Pay and benefits:

• $125,000-$160,000 salary annually, commensurate with experience
