Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational techniques.
• Craft tailored treatment strategies aimed at addressing both immediate and prolonged communication and swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions that enhance communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, caregivers, and medical professionals to form cohesive, holistic care plans.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families to nurture progress beyond the therapy room.
• Support in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatment initiatives, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation to adhere to state and federal compliance standards.
• Advance your expertise through ongoing education and collaboration amongst peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preference will be given to those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
