Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Perform vent management and monitor CPAP, BiPap, Nebs, and a-line placement
• Assist providers with intubation, vent weaning, extubation, and perform ABGs
• Collaborate with RNs and other RTs to deliver optimal patient care

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Accepting RRT or CRT credentials
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
