Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the float unit will work across various departments within the facility, providing high-quality care to patients. The role includes responsibilities related to patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination of care, as well as adhering to facility protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in orientation and training for new staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• Previous experience in a float or similar nursing role preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
