Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our outpatient office in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and facilities to assist our therapists in providing superior patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess mobility, strength, and overall function, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and modalities, particularly focusing on patients recovering from spine surgery.
• Utilize electronic health records to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring compliance with all documentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address any concerns regarding treatment and recovery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, keeping current with advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Act as a resource for patients and families, offering guidance on home exercise programs and strategies for continued health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, many of whom may be post-operative individuals recovering from spine surgeries or chronic orthopedic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play an essential role in promoting recovery, enhancing functional abilities, and facilitating optimal health among your patients. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be pivotal in encouraging patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) with a focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in Florida; must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• Certification in CPR is required upon hire, and you must keep your CPR certification current.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedics, particularly with a background in spine surgery rehabilitation, is highly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email tools is essential for effective documentation and communication within the clinic.
