Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantAs a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the City's financial integrity by supporting general ledger functions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and financial management activities. This position ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Washington State Auditor requirements while supporting sound internal controls.The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
