Speech-Language Pathologist

Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person speech-language pathology services to students within a school district in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate students, provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, participate in IEP activities, and collaborate with families and school personnel to support students' communication needs. Current North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred. Clinical Fellows may be considered with appropriate supervision. Knowledge of assessments, IEPs, treatment planning, and progress monitoring. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting. Responsibilities Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Provide individual and group speech-language therapy. Monitor and document student progress. Maintain accurate service records and Medicaid-related documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Consult with teachers, families, and other school personnel. Recommend appropriate referrals, accommodations, and communication strategies.
