Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing , a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. Responsibilities Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, with emphasis on the acute phase when applicable. Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient progress; implement symptom treatment as needed. Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and disease particulars. Support patients and create a supportive environment; opportunities to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer may be available.
