As part of our team, you will play an important role in supporting a clients recovery and quality of life./ph2Caregiver Responsibilities/h2ulliAssist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting/liliProvide safe transfers and mobility assistance (bed to wheelchair, chair to standing, etc.)/liliSupport stroke recovery routines and encourage independence when possible/liliProvide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being/liliAssist with meal preparation and feeding support if needed/liliHelp with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment/liliProvide medication reminders (non-medical)/liliObserve and report any changes in the clients condition to the care team/liliCommunicate respectfully with the client and family members/li/ulh2Required Experience Qualifications/h2ulliMinimum 1+ years caregiving experience in senior or in-home care/liliExperience working with stroke recovery clients strongly preferred/liliExperience assisting with transfers, toileting, bathing, and mobility support/liliKnowledge of safe transfer techniques and fall prevention/liliCompassionate, patient, and dependable personality/liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills/liliAbility to follow a care plan and work independently/liliReliable transportation and valid drivers license/liliMust meet California Home Care Aide (HCA) requirements including background check and TB test/li/ulh2Preferred Skills/h2ulliExperience with gait belts, transfer techniques, or mobility aids/liliExperience assisting clients with limited mobility or one-sided weakness (common after stroke)/liliAbility to encourage light activity and engagement for recovery support including PT type exercises safely./li/ul/div
