• Providing direct support and guidance to people with intellectual and developmental differences.

• Helping clients with personal hygiene tasks, feeding, meal preparation, and dressing.

• Performing home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning.

• Planning meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, feeding, and clean-up.

• Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments and transporting clients or running errands for clients.

• Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Monitoring the physical, mental and emotional conditions of clients and reporting changes.
