Right at Home Cleveland Southwest, In-Home Care & Assistance, is a non-skilled agency seeking to hire Home-Maker Companions to help with instrumental activities of daily living. We have immediate part-time and full-time positions available to applicants looking to gain experience, help others in their community, or simply make extra money. You can help seniors and veterans remain independent while staying in the comfort of their own homes. Students, seniors, and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties: Performs Home-Maker Companion activities that assist the client with instrumental activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

• Meal preparation and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Medication reminders

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
• One year of experience as a Home-Maker Companion Caregiver in healthcare (in homes or communities)
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
