About the Role

Help families and business owners in our community protect what matters most!

As a Sales and Service Representative at our Farmers Insurance agency, you're often the first person customers and prospects talk to. You'll service existing accounts, connect with new prospects, prepare quotes, and spot coverage gaps that customers didn't know they had.

You don't need to know insurance on day one. If you communicate well, follow through, and like helping people solve problems, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and handle service requests, questions, and concerns quickly and professionally
• Talk with prospects, gather the details needed, and prepare accurate insurance quotes
• Explain Farmers products and coverage options in plain language
• Recommend additional coverage when it fits a customer's needs
• Build lasting relationships through consistent follow-up
• Keep customer records accurate and confidential, and follow agency procedures and insurance regulations
• Use agency software and Microsoft Office to get your work done

What We're Looking For

• Customer service or sales experience, ideally in insurance or financial services
• Clear, confident communicator who is comfortable talking with current customers and new prospects
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office
• An active Property and Casualty license is preferred. If you're working toward one or need assistance with attaining one, apply anyway.
