Hose and Wire Spooler/Order Filler- 8:30am-5:00pm - Columbus, OH

Our Columbus Ohio Distribution Center is looking for a full-time Warehouse associate to work as a Hose and Wire Order Filler.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a detailoriented and reliable team member to support our warehouse operations through accurate order fulfillment, product handling, and inventory maintenance. This role is responsible for performing daily tasks such as spooling wire, cutting hose, repackaging bulk chemicals, and efficiently filling sales orders. The ideal candidate will ensure products are pulled, inspected, packaged, and stocked according to company standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and wellfunctioning work area.
This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy by properly documenting quantities, identifying outofstock items, and ensuring all products with multiple packaging codes are stocked and prepared correctly. The team member will also be responsible for stocking received merchandise within 24 hours, visually inspecting product quality, and verifying label accuracy for every order.
Success in this role requires meeting productivity expectations--such as spooling wire at a rate of no less than 30 spools per hour--and recording accurate footage deductions to maintain correct inventory counts. The team member will also complete and submit a Daily Production Report to the department lead. This is a handson role in a fastpaced environment that requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
* The ability to lift 50 pounds floor to waist, waist to waist, and shoulder to waist
* The ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for long periods of time
* The ability to bend and twist the back; the ability to finely manipulate and grip objects; the ability to squat and reach overhead to gain access to higher and lower shelves
* The ability to do occasional neck flexions, extensions, and twisting while sitting, standing, or squatting
* Comfortable working with machinery
* The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations;and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
* The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period
Additional Hours:
The pay rate is $18 per hour.
The hours are 8:30AM to 5:00pm- Monday through Friday
