Job Summary and Qualifications Associate performs a variety of duties in preparing patient for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. He/she will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measures concentration of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Associate maintains safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co-workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date State Registered Radiologic Technician Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date Must be registered/eligible by NMTCB and/or ARRT (N). If associate does not hold advanced certification, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training program Must be Texas licensed MRT No Travel Required 3 years experience Required Years of Experience Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility.
