Full-Time Bank Teller


A credit union in Cantonment is looking for a Full-Time Bank Teller to join their team. The ideal candidate would process customer transactions, assists with account inquiries and promotes bank products/services.



Job Responsibilities:

• 55% - Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• 10% - Balances cash drawer and daily transactions .
• 10% - Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records at an average of 10 per hour.
• 10% - Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs member to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• 5% - Cross-sells Credit Union services.
• 5% - Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone
• 5% - Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Banking experience preferred; Must have cash handling experience
• Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all customers and associates.
• Balance your drawer daily, being no more than $30 off and with total outages not to exceed $100 in a month period.
• Process an average of transactions per hour set by Branch Manager.
• Accurately post transactions, having fewer than 3 posting errors in a 30-day period.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the customer.
• Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• For this position, you will be paid $17/hour
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, one Saturday a month - 8:30 - 12:30 pm
• Float (Will work daily at one location (West Pensacola, Pace or Cantonment)
• Contract position; could become Contract to Hire
