In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics, specifically for our Dive-XL. You will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally. This role will be testing complex electromechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product!What You'll DoWork within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and operations team on pressure vessel assembly and test as part overall AUV production integrationPerform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devices.Build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVsExecute on detailed sub-system End-of-Line (EOL) tests from prepared proceduresPerform incoming quality inspection testing on PCBA'sProficient at troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level.Help develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process5S work areas, perform part inspections, close out work order, and follow safety best practicesSupport management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies (maintenance, calibrations, raw material stock)Potential of traveling offshore to support our operations teamRequired QualificationsSolid background in electronics working in relevant fields (Robotics, Defense, Avionics)Experience in preparing and executing test procedures with high levels of attention to detailFamiliarity with electrical engineering principles and conceptsExperience working off of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawingsCommitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountabilityFamiliarity with basic electrical test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.Show up everyday with a high level of urgency and enthusiasm to get the job doneExtremely organized and detail-orientedExcellent verbal & written communication skillsEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDCSubsea cable splicing or fabrication experienceExperience with pressure vessels and/or pressure systems/equipmentIPC 610 and/or 620 CertificationExperience with low volume / high mix manufacturingExperience in hardware testing & automated test systems$28 - $37 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
