This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of ultrasound exams. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist II position serves as a mentor and trainer to the Ultrasound Technologist I and students. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures.
