End-to-End Space Systems Engineers (Experienced, Lead or Senior)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space Mission Systems division seeks an End‑to‑End Space Systems Engineer (Experienced, Lead or Senior) in El Segundo, California. Position Responsibilities Manage Space Section External Interfaces, including development of ICDs as required by contract. Perform system requirements and verification planning and execution. Maintain requirements trace and VCRM for system‑level requirements. Develop and model Space Segment inter‑segment CONOPS. Develop and maintain System Design Documents (SDDs). Utilize Model‑Based Systems Engineering processes and tools to develop and maintain the System Architecture Model. Perform system trade studies and system‑level analyses. Develop inter‑segment test plans, including requirements for demonstrations and test beds. Support execution of system operational test and evaluation activities. Verify and selloff system‑level requirements. Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent). Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or similar. 5+ years of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 3+ years in systems engineering processes and tools. 3+ years in system design, development, or test. Experience in model‑derived CONOPS development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, and architecture development. Preferred Qualifications Lead (Level 4): 9+ years of related experience; Senior (Level 5): 14+ years. 3+ years in aerospace, defense, or related high‑tech industry. Experience interfacing with customers and program office, and across interdisciplinary teams. Experience leading technical teams or projects. Experience integrating Space, Ground, and User Terminal CONOPS. Location & Availability This position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA. Security Clearance U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher) required. Relocation Relocation assistance offered for eligible candidates. Shift 1st Shift.
