About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen team in Richmond, VA. This role is ideal for a skilled culinary professional who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high food quality standards, and helping deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Work across multiple kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, pantry, baking, and pastry.

• Lead daily line operations and support efficient kitchen workflow.

• Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, procedures, and best practices.

• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.

• Assist with food preparation, inventory organization, and stocking stations.

• Help with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and front-of-house teams.

• Support smooth operations during high-volume service periods.

• Ensure consistency, quality, and timely food production.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience required, including experience working multiple stations.

• Leadership experience in a kitchen environment preferred.

• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and positive attitude.

• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
