Locum Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care

Job Overview We are hiring Pediatric Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to support a Children’s Hospital in Texas during the expansion of their Pediatric ICU. Responsibilities Perform lumbar punctures, femoral central venous line placement, peripheral arterial line placement, pigtail chest tube insertion, and intubation. Manage ventilators including Servo, LTV, and Trilogy models. Work full‑time coverage of 12+ shifts every four weeks, or at least 6 shifts. Shift schedule includes day, night, holiday and weekend shifts, each 13 hours in length. Qualifications Minimum one year of pediatric critical care advanced practice provider experience in a 40‑bed PICU (or equivalent). Texas licensure in hand or in process; emergency credentialing within 2 months. Compensation & Benefits 1099 hourly rate of $100–120 per hour. Palm Health covers malpractice insurance, lodging, travel, rental car, and mileage. Locum assignment starts at 13 weeks with a definite extension for 9–12 months.
